So Smart Communications has finally opened up its SmartBro WiMax service to residents of Metro Manila. Here are the WiMax packages currently available for subscription.

Up to 1 Mbps
Unlimited Usage Hours
Monthly Subscription Fee: Php999
SmartBro WiMax Plan 799
Up to 512kbps
Unlimited Hours
Monthly Subscription Fee: Php799
Smart WiMax is only available in selected areas in Metro Manila.

user ako ng smart bro wimax for 1.5 months… ung 999 plan. location? sa novaliches. for one and a half months may oras na minsan mabilis or mabagal sa pagload ng internet elements… sa madaling term, hindi xa consistent. pero pagdating sa dowloading at streaming ng video ok., ung download ko 115to145 kb palagi.
pero this past few days, bumaliktad. naging mabilis sa loading ng page… pero nabawasan ung downloading rate(24-40kb n lang) ko.. hah.. nakakabaliw.. bat kaya ganun?

Hi, just want to ask, we are using wimaxx now for two weeks in our computer shop, and just yesterday afternoon until today, we do not have any signal for internet connection. the other net shop (using the old antenna smart connection) has the signal.. Bakit ganito to, if other surfers read this, could you kindly possibly answer this… nakakalugi sa negosyo……..
