Period of Nat’l Prayer for Ka Erdie Declared
0President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo already signed Presidential Proclamation 1847 announcing a Period of Nat’l Prayer for the late INC Executive Minister Eranio “Ka Erdy” Manalo who passed away last Monday due to cardiopulmonary arrest. It was also the President’s way of thanking the Executive Minister and the INC members who supported her in the 2004 elections.
Iglesia Ni Cristo Leader Passed Away
0Members of the Religious Organization Iglesia Ni Kristo are now in grief as their Executive Head, Brother Erano Manalo died from a cardiopulmonary arrest yesterday at exactly 3:53 p.m. He took over the administration of the church after the death of his father, Felix Manalo, in 1963 where he became instrumental in the propagation and expansion of the church internationally. His wake will be held at the Templo Sentral of the INC in Quezon City according to the INC spokesman Bienvenido Santiago for public viewing. We are one with our Iglesia Ni Kristo brothers and sisters in praying for his eternal repose.
Iglesia ni Kristo, Now on its 95th Year
0Iglesia Ni Kristo is now on its 95th year of Foundation this year. President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo showed her gratitude for the religious group as she declared July 27, 2009 a special non-working Holiday. Iglesia Ni Kristo has been steadfast in promoting religious values and moral formation as well as nation- building through its members. Congratulations to Iglesia Ni Kristo!
