The Sandiganbayan convicted ex-Imus Mayor Oscar Jaro from six to 10 years imprisonment.This is because of his involvement in anomalous purchase of a 2.36-hectare property supposedly for a garbage dump or a municipal slaughterhouse in 2000 were he disbursed P8.98 M.His accomplice were acquitted because of lack of evidence.
