Are you afraid of getting a high-cholesterol level food? Usually, these are the foods that we eat during our snack time, but, it has a very high cholesterol content that maybe harmful to our body.  Instead of craving for Meat Burgers,why not try something new, that is healthy, delicious,  yet affordable. Here’s one of the snacks i got from filipinovegetarianrecipe.com.

Veggie Burger Recipe

Ingredients:

1 kilo gluten-burger, chopped
10-12 burger buns
3/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup shredded cheese 3 medium potatoes, cooked and mashed
Mayonnaise
Oil for frying
1 small onion, minced
1 beaten egg
Salt to taste
l0-12 pineapple slices, drained well
Flour
Garnish
1-2 eggs

How to Prepare:

1. Mix the gluten-burger well with mashed potatoes, beaten egg, onion, cheese and salt.

2. Shape into patties (about 10 to 12), dust with flour, dip in beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs.

3. Fry to golden brown on both rides: drain.

4. Heat pineapple slices on pan after cooking patties.

5. Spread mayonnaise on buns and top with burgers and pineapple.

6. Garnish with tomatoes or olives and serve immediately.

Yield: 10 to 12 servings.
