Susan Fernandez- Magno died at 52

Singer and Activist Susan Fernandez- Magno succumb to cancer yesterday at the Medical City Hospital in Pasig City. She was 52. Dubbed as the ” Nigthingale”, she devoted herself by supporting the welfare of women’s advocacy through her music. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last 2008 and from that time, different cause – oriented groups supported her through series of benefit concerts. Susan was survived by her husband Alexander Magno and two children Kalayaan and Sandino. Her ashes will be at Christ the King Church in Green Meadows.
