Magna Carta of Women, Signed

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo signed the Republic Act 9710 or the Magna Carta of Women last August 14. The new law will provide equal rights and opportunities to all women just like any other men in terms of work, health and wellness opportunities. It will also prohibits discrimination against women and to promote and protect their rights as a human being.
