“I Have Nothing, I Have No Money” – Imelda Marcos

Former First Lady Imelda Marcos admits that she is now poor and still, allegedly being persecuted. She claims that until now, she is struggling to pay for travel bonds amounting to P750,000 just to be able to go abroad and seek treatment for her illnesses. Ferdinand Marcos’ widow expressed sadness over how she had to withdraw money from the Phil. Veterans Bank, containing her late husband’s pension as a military man. Mrs. Marcos said that she’s not spending her husband’s money as her children shoulders all her expenses including her travel and hospitalization expenses.She had already submitted documents to the Sandiganbayan that she will be having an eye operation because her left eyelid drooped that made her vision hampered.
