A High School Student from Teodora Alonzo High School in Sta. Cruz Manila was arrested for selling drugs to his schoolmate to support his school needs. Superintendent Ernesto Tendero Jr., Manila Police District Sta. Cruz Station 3 commander, arrested Eddie Leo Sunga, 18, a third year high school student of the said school together with the school security guard Lourdes Avillano at the school gate at around 10:30 a.m. Villano told police investigators that she became suspicious of Sunga when she saw him borrow a schoolmate’s bag although he was carrying his own bag. As the two students passed through the school gate, Sunga took a small gray pouch from the borrowed bag which he then returned to his schoolmate and when Sunga opened the pouch, finding out that it contained 11 plastic sachets containing dried marijuana leaves and flowering tops,that’s why she called the police. Meanwhile,during the interrogation, Sunga confessed to selling drugs and even identified his supplier.
