Astroboy the Movie , In Theaters this October

David Bowers, a British Director will remake the animated film this year. The legendary Japanese Anime Superhero Astroboy was created by Osamu Tezuka also known as the “God of Anime ” during the 1960’s. Meanwhile, Luis Grane, its character designer, the one behind the successful movies Spiderman 2, “The Matrix” and “Ratatouille” made his part to made this upcoming film possible. It will recount the beginnings of the boy robot with human feelings who undertakes a journey in search of his identity before returning to futuristic Metro City to reconcile with his estranged creator,Tenma, a genius scientist. Freddie Highmore,a 17 year-old boy from the movie “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” will give life to Astro Boy’s character as its voice. Other cast includes Nicholas Cage as Tenma, Kirsten Bell as Cora, Nathan Lane as Ham Egg, and Donald Sutherland as General Stone.
