At 4:00 am today, Tropical Storm “CHEDENG” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 540 km East of Borongan, Eastern Samar ( 11.9°N, 130.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 105 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 135 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 17 kph.
