MMDA implements Strict Enforcement of No-Smoking laws in Metro Manila
0The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Friday that starting Monday (May 30), the agency and the 17 local government units (LGUs) of Metro Manila will start apprehending smokers who will be caught puffing away in public places in all major and secondary roads of the metropolis.

Colleges and Universities increase tuition fee
0Commission on Higher Education (CHED) announces the more than 15% of college-level schools in the Philippines will increase tuition fee this school year except state-owned.
As a matter of fact, 282 out of 1,792 colleges and universities in the country will implement tuition hike.
LTFRB approves MRT, LRT fare hikes
0Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has agreed to the proposed increase in the fares for the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 and 2, and the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3.

Typhoon Bebeng’s LATEST update from PAGASA
0At 4:00 p.m. today, Tropical Storm “BEBENG” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 50 km East of Tuguegarao City (17.5 °N, 122.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph. It is forecast to move North at 15 kph.

China confirms death penalty to 3 Pinoy drug mules
0After almost a month, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines Liu Jianchao confirmed that the verdict to the 3 Filipino drug mules was still death penalty and that verdict was final. The thing there is that the execution was just delayed but we weren’t able to change the decision of Chinese Supreme Court.
