Bieber ties with Eminem with 6 Billboard Music Awards (Full list of winners)
0Teen superstar Justin Bieber tied with rapper Eminem in taking home 6 trophies from the 2011 Billboard Music Awards.
Bieber’s awards included trophies for Top New Artist, Top Social Artist, Top Streaming Artist, Top Digital Media Artist, Top Pop Album and Top Streaming Song at his first-ever trip to the show. Meanwhile, veteran Eminem (who was not in Las Vegas for the show) nabbed Top Artist, Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Rap Artist, Top Rap Song and Top Rap Album for his smash comeback, Recovery.
Got three awards each from Billboard were Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Usher, Mumford & Sons and Cruz.

Anne Curtis is set for a recording album
0People and fans knew actress and host Anne Curtis as a frustrated singer but not anymore because she is to release her own album
Curtis said in an interview: “Magkaka-album ako. Serious ako! Oo ng sa VIVA, yes. Inupo ko ang VIVA at sinabi ko sa kanila bakit magkakaroon ng album si Vice Ganda before me. Nasa 13 years na ako sa showbiz. So, si Vic boss sabi niya, ‘Sige pagbigyan na natin siya.”
The Wowowee host said that she will sing her favorite songs to include on her dream CD. Aside from that, there will also guest singers on her debut album.
“For me kasi it’s a statement to all the singers out there na hindi nakakakanta pero passion nila ang kumanta,” she said.
