<p>For those who want to try a simple soup recipe, here&#8217;s the one that i got from the site filipinovegetarianrecipe.com.</p>
<p><strong>Sopa De Ajo</strong></p>
<p><em>Ingredients:</p>
<p>6        bread slices cut in small cubes<br />
1        teaspoon salt<br />
1        teaspoon oil<br />
          Dash of pepper<br />
3        teaspoons garlic, minced<br />
1        egg, beaten with 1 tablespoon water<br />
3        cup vegetables stock or water<br />
3/4    teaspoon parsley</p>
<p></em></p>
<p><strong>How to Prepare :</strong></p>
<p>1. Fry bread slices in deep fat until golden brown. Set aside.<br />
2. In a little oil, fry garlic, then add vegetable stock and season with salt and pepper.<br />
3. Boil and simmer for 3 minutes and add the beaten egg white while stirring.<br />
4. Just before serving, drop croutons into the Soup and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve hot.<br />
Makes 4 to 6 servings.<br />

<p><strong>Broiled Bean Sandwich</strong><br />
<em>Ingredients:</em></p>
<p><em>2        cups baked beans<br />
2        tablespoons tomato sauce<br />
6        slices bread<br />
Mayonnaise</em></p>
<p><strong>How to Prepare :</strong></p>
<p>1. Combine beans and tomato sauce. Toast the bread on one side, spread untoasted side with mayonnaise or margarine. Top with the bean mixture. Spread beans close to the crust to completely cover the slices.<br />
2. Place the open-faced sandwiches on the broiler about three inches from the burner. Broil for from 3 to 4 minutes or until piping hot.<br />
Serve and Enjoy.</p>
