Hotel chain heiress and socialite Paris Hilton will be visiting the Philippines on August 13, 2011.

This is according to Paris herself in a tweet to a Filipina fan, “Hey @iamishagirl, I’m flying to Manilla, Philippines on August 13th for a few days. Would love to meet up while I’m there.” Her real intention for visiting the country is for business though. She will be meeting with the creative team of local real estate company Century Properties for the design of “Paris Hilton Beach Club.” She also plans to visit her store at the Abreeza Mall in Davao City called “Paris Hilton Handbags and Accessories.”

American nu metal band Korn will be having a concert in Manila, Philippines on August 10, 2011.

It will be held at the Araneta Coliseum and is presented by Ovation Productions. Korn’s front act is local band Slapshock. Tickets are available at TicketNet (02) 911-55-55, all SM Department stores and at the Araneta Coliseum ticket office. Ticket prices ranged from 500 pesos to 4,500 pesos.

Sitti Katrina Navarro also known as Sitti (born November 29, 1984 Las Piñas) is a Filipino bossa nova singer. Saosin is an American post-hardcore band originally hailing from Newport Beach, California, formed in 2003. The band currently consists of vocalist Cove Reber, guitarists Beau Burchell and Justin Shekoski, bassist Chris Sorenson, and drummer Alex Rodriguez.
